Our Duty of Care and Passenger Code of Conduct
As a responsible operator, we prioritise the safety and well-being of our passengers, winery partners, and guides. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all, please be aware of the following:
● No Alcohol Consumption Onboard: Our bus is not licensed for alcohol consumption during transit.
● Safety Protocols: We enforce strict safety and conduct protocols. In cases of excessive intoxication or inappropriate behaviour, we reserve the right to end the tour early and remove the affected passenger from the group.
● Duty of Care Agreement: All passengers are required to review and sign our duty of care agreement prior to starting the tour. You can access the agreement [here].
● Plan Ahead: Please ensure you include food and water in your planning to stay hydrated and enjoy the day responsibly.

● Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the tour date will receive a full refund.
● Cancellations within 24 hours of the tour date are non-refundable.
● No-shows will be charged the full tour price.
Tour Operations
We reserve the right to alter, postpone, or cancel tours due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to extreme weather conditions, safety concerns, or insufficient bookings.
Hens and Bucks Tours
Unfortunately, the Wine Hopper does not accept bookings for Hens or Bucks tours. However, we would be happy to accommodate your group with a private tour—please contact us for more details.
Passenger Responsibilities
● Arrive at the designated pickup location at least 10 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
● Adhere to the provided itinerary and respect the time allocations for each stop.
● Consume alcohol responsibly and in moderation throughout the tour.
Liability
The Wine Hopper is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury incurred during the tour, including those resulting from alcohol consumption. Passengers participate at their own risk.
Age Restrictions
All passengers must be 18 years or older to join our tours in accordance with Tasmanian liquor licensing laws. Minors are welcome but must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
Conduct
We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate the tour for any passenger exhibiting disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behaviour.
Photography
The Wine Hopper may use photographs or videos taken during the tour for marketing purposes unless explicitly requested otherwise by passengers.

By booking and participating in a The Wine Hopper tour, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
